🎯 About the Role
Mutualis Group Sarl is recruiting on behalf of an innovative fintech client based in Douala. We are seeking a passionate Database Administrator (DBA) dedicated to managing, securing, and optimizing mission-critical databases that support financial operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of data management systems
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance data architecture
- Monitor performance and proactively apply adjustments
- Document processes and stay up to date with emerging technologies

🎓 Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in database administration
- Proficiency in DBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication in French (English is a plus)
